We have a Junior Wave program for our younger swimmers who are not yet ready to be a full team member and swim at a meet. Junior Waves are swimmers who can complete the width of the pool with slight assistance (but not the 25 meter length of the pool— which is required to participate in meets). Some Junior Waves qualify to swim in a meet as the season progresses.

We are excited to announce details about our upcoming late summer swim season! Please welcome back Marshall Peters as our head coach for this season–he brings several years of coaching experience and will help lead our team through this fun season!

Practices will be offered Mondays - Thursdays starting August 5, 2024. Please see our attached schedule for details about times and locations. You can attend as many or as few practices as you wish. These practices will have an emphasis on stroke development and improvement.

The Fall swim league is a laid-back version of swim team–designed much like a stroke clinic. We have a few Saturday morning meets where you get to choose your events. Tentative meet dates are Saturday mornings (starting 9 am, lasting approximately 2.5 hours) on August 17, August 24, September 7, and the Championship on September 14.

The league will offer the following age groups: 8 and Under (includes 6 year olds), 9/10, 11/12, 13 and Over (includes 15+). 8 and Under swimmers must be able to swim the length of the pool unassisted and be ready to begin instruction on all four strokes--we will not have a separate coach designated to work with 6&Unders. Unfortunately, we are not able to offer practices for junior swimmers as the college-age coaches will not be in town.

Team fees for 2024:

-$125 (before Aug 5... $150 after Aug 5) for swimmers who are competing in meets & participating in practices. Swimmers age 13 and Older pay $70.

-$70 if ONLY competing in meets (no practices)-- $40 for 13 and Older swimmers.

The 2024 Waves team registration portal is now open! You can register for the season at hamptonhallwaves.swimtopia.com.  Please complete registration on or before April 10, 2024 to avoid late registration fees.
